Take advantage of our Venus and Saturn night bus services
When normal bus services are at a standstill, the two night bus routes Venus and Saturn make their rounds.
The two buses run on the nights from Friday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday and before public holidays from midnight to 4.30am.
The Venus night bus route serves the north and west of the city, including the Wieseck district, while the Saturn night bus route serves the south and east, including Kleinlinden. The districts of Rödgen, Allendorf and Lützellinden are also served by connecting taxis. The buses start and finish at "Berliner Platz", run every hour and what's special: this service is free of charge.

Timetables for our night buses
To ensure that you can get home safely at night, our Venus and Saturn night buses run every hour from Berliner Platz in Giessen on Friday and Saturday nights, from Saturday to Sunday and before public holidays from 00:27 to 4:27.
While Venus travels through Weststadt and Wieseck, Saturn serves the south-eastern districts. Connecting taxis are available for Rödgen, Allendorf and Lützellinden.
Use of the night buses is free of charge.
